Multi-user training
This training method allows multiple users to participate in joint training exercises simultaneously. Multi-user exercises can be done either with different roles within a single agency or with multiple agencies. Multi-user training enables training at operational, tactical and strategic level.
The multi-user system is operated by one or more instructors, each with their own Instructor Station. Trainees each have their own PC and virtual character within the training environment. The virtual character can assume any role given to them by the instructor. Each trainee's virtual character operates freely in the environment. Their decisions and actions can impact the other trainees.
Trainees communicate with each other directly or using actual radio equipment. During this training each user station has their own responsibilities. By cooperating with the other user stations the scenario needs to be resolved in an appropriate way.
