A few of the other projects VSTEP has created for its clients:

On-board Firefighting TrainingOn-board firefighting training

  • For the Royal Dutch Navy, VSTEP created an on-board fire fighting procedure trainer. This simulator allows crew on-board a Royal Navy Frigate to respond and train the procedures in case of various incidents. For this project, VSTEP worked closely together with the Royal Dutch Navy to realistically recreate the inside of their vessels in full 3D and implement the desired safety procedures.  

 

 

Train Driver Procedure TrainingDutch Railway Procedure Training

  • For the Dutch State Railways (NS), VSTEP created a procedure trainer. With this procedure trainer, train drivers can train the correct procedures for train startup. The procedure trainer is frequently updated with new train models and their specific up-to-date procedures.

Helicopter Platform Incident Management

  • To train the competence and awareness of oil rig safety personnel, VSTEP created a landing platform incident training. With this simulator, staff can learn and train to react efficiently in case of a high risk crash incident with ever changing circumstances and unannounced events.
