Rotterdam/Abu Dhabi, February 17th 2011 – VSTEP’s NAUTIS Maritime Simulators and RescueSim Emergency Response Trainer will be featuring at selected partner booths during the IDEX 2011 Expo in Abu Dhabi, UAE. IDEX 2011 will be hosted from 20-24th February 2011 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, UAE and will be a venue for more than 950 exhibitors from over 50 countries. Recent news

During a training session organized by the Safety Region Rotterdam Rijnmond and  VSTEP, RescueSim’s new HLA compliancy and VBS2 interoperability was put into operation, showcasing civil-military and antiterrorism training possibilities.

VSTEP is proud to announce that its RescueSim virtual incident management training platform is to be fully compatible with the next generation Oculus Rift Head Mounted Displays, making full immersion 3D virtual training possible for its users and opening up new training possibilities for emergency services. 

NAUTIS DNV Certified Class B simulator delivered to the Maritime License Training Company in Jacksonville, Florida.

For training of its Sigma Class Corvette bridge personnel, the Indonesian Navy and Ministry of Defence selected VSTEP to supply two Class A NAUTIS Full Mission Bridge (FMB) Simulators for its Kobangdikal marine training facility in Surabaya.

At the Kooy Symposium 2013, Delft Dynamics, specialised in building unmanned helicopters, presented their Universal Simulation Platform for Unmanned Systems (USPvOS). Using this platform, groundstations from unmanned systems can be linked directly to RescueSim using High Level Architecture (HLA), thereby allowing virtual training of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators.
